The greatest feeling ever as an artist is when your clients trust you. Because when they do, you can create magic together. I'm really loving the recent trend of photographing engagement sessions or couples in their home, so we decided to do Andrew and Kirsten's engagement session in this cozy loft. I'm always trying to create little stories for my sessions, and I love turning the ordinary, such as moving or hanging out at home- into beautiful sessions. I find when couples are comfortable, that's when you can really get beautiful emotion out of them. You can capture all of those little gestures or characteristics that are unique to them. Engagement sessions should showcase that, rather than static poses or holding hands in a park. I loved photographing Andrew & Kirsten who are so obviously in love with each other. Their chemistry is incredible! I can't wait to photograph them exchange their vows in Boston this summer!
